III. Jesus stumbles the first time

The way is rough and bumpy and steep are the steps leading upwards.

Jesus is driven to his knees under the unwanted burden. With his hand he tries to support himself on the next step.

The beam looms gigantic and foreboding, the steps rise to an unassailable height.
